The Rosary is a form of counted prayer using a string of beads. It consists of 15 decades, each prayed with a Hail Mary and preceded by the Lord’s Prayer and followed by a Gloria Patri or Glory Be. Each decade is associated with a meditation on a sacred mystery in Jesus’ life.
